Oopbuy company claims: offices, 45 countries and factory sourcing

The About page and the Oopbuy Selection panel describe the company and where its goods come from. These are the promises in the ledger with the least written behind them. Here is what the published pages do say.

Offices in the United States, China and other places

No matching clause found

The promise

OOPBUY spans multiple continents and has offices in the United States, China and other places.

About OOPBUY, read 15 Oct 2026

The clause

Company Name: Openbuy Technology HK Limited. Company Number: 77213008. Company Address: Unit 903A, 9/F, Cameron Commercial Centre, 458-468 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, HK.

Contact Us, read 15 Oct 2026

Between the two

  • No page we read gives an office address in the United States.
  • An older Contact Us article (read 10 Oct 2026, not linked from the current footer) lists a second Hong Kong address in Tuen Mun.
  • The App Store listing for the Oopbuy app names the seller as Openbuy Technology Xiamen Limited (read 11 Oct 2026).
  • The warehouse and the returns address are in Xiamen, Fujian.

The About page is short: a paragraph on services, a vision and mission line, and one sentence on offices and countries. Every company detail we could verify points to Hong Kong and Xiamen. That fits "China and other places"; we found nothing that names the United States office.

About OOPBUY page: one-stop purchasing services and direct access to manufacturers at wholesale prices, and offices in the United States, China and other places serving key regions in 45 countries
The About page, read 15 October 2026.

Two company names appear on first-party surfaces: the Hong Kong company on the website's Contact Us page, and a Xiamen company as the app seller. Both are Oopbuy's own statements. We list them separately and do not merge them, because no page explains how they relate.

What is published about the company

All first-party company details: Hong Kong company and two addresses, Xiamen app seller, Xiamen warehouse, contact channels, and what was not found
Company details in one place.

Put every first-party company detail in one place and the list is short: a Hong Kong limited company with its number, two Hong Kong addresses on two Contact Us articles, a Xiamen company as the app seller, a Xiamen warehouse, three email addresses and a Discord server.

There is no founding year on the site, no named management, and no registration detail beyond the Hong Kong company number. That is not unusual for shopping agents, and it is still worth knowing when you decide how much weight to put on a brand promise.

If you need to verify the Hong Kong company, the Companies Registry in Hong Kong runs a public search by company number.

Key regions in 45 countries

No matching clause found

The promise

We serve key regions in 45 countries around the world.

About OOPBUY

The clause

No page lists the 45 countries or defines a key region.

Help centre, terms, estimator

Between the two

  • The public estimator's destination picker returned 243 destination entries on 15 October 2026, plus a separate group of 31 Chinese provinces.
  • Six destinations are pinned as popular: France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States.
  • A destination in the picker is not a guarantee of a working route; routes appear only after you enter a weight and goods type.
Two numbers: 45 countries on the About page and 243 destination entries in the estimator
Two numbers, two meanings.

The number 45 and the number 243 measure different things. One is a statement about where Oopbuy considers its key markets; the other is a list of places you can select in a form. Neither contradicts the other.

What you need is narrower: does a route exist to your address, at your weight, for your goods type? Run the estimator for your country with the real weight before you buy. If no route appears for ordinary goods, the country count does not help you.

Wholesale prices and direct factory access

No matching clause found

The promise

OOPBUY provides many buyers with direct access to manufacturers at wholesale prices.

About OOPBUY

The clause

All shopping agent orders placed at OOPBUY will be processed by highly-rated third-party shopping agents ... All products displayed ... are from third-party shopping platforms, which are not sold by us.

Purchasing Instructions, section 3, read 15 Oct 2026

Between the two

  • Agent orders are bought from marketplace sellers by third-party shopping agents that Oopbuy says it trains and supervises.
  • Neither Oopbuy nor those agents accept liability for the products, including intellectual property issues.
  • 1688, one of the supported platforms, is itself a wholesale marketplace, which may be what the About page refers to. The page does not say.

The section titled Disclaimer for Third-Party Shopping Agents is one of the most informative passages in Oopbuy's help centre. It says who actually buys your item, a third-party agent working to Oopbuy's standards, and that you can raise objections about them through Oopbuy's customer service.

Purchasing Instructions section 3, Disclaimer for Third-Party Shopping Agents: orders processed by third-party shopping agents, products from third-party platforms not sold by Oopbuy
Who actually buys your item, in Oopbuy's words.

Set against "direct access to manufacturers", it describes a chain with more links: you, Oopbuy, a third-party agent, a marketplace seller. Some sellers on 1688 are manufacturers. The About sentence and the disclaimer can both be accurate; the disclaimer is the one that describes the process.

The Oopbuy Selection panel: three promises

No matching clause found

The promise

Directly connected to brand factories ... Every batch of products is randomly inspected by third-party organizations ... If there are quality issues, the platform will take severe action against the factory.

Keyword search results, "Why Choose Oopbuy Selection?" panel, read 15 Oct 2026

The clause

We found no published terms for Oopbuy Selection that cover factory screening, batch inspection or penalties.

Help centre and logged-out mall pages, 15 Oct 2026

Between the two

  • Mall product pages, at addresses of the form oopbuy.com/foundry/OFFICIAL/..., show no after-sale terms without an account.
  • The panel names no third-party inspection organisation and no penalty process.
  • The panel's third line, about curated picks, is marketing in form and we do not treat it as a promise.
  • Selection items are Oopbuy's own mall goods; the agent-order rules on other pages may not apply to them.

This panel opens when you click the banner above keyword search results. It is new: the search page we read on 10 October 2026 had no Selection tab and no panel. Its three lines are the most specific sourcing promises Oopbuy makes anywhere.

Why Choose Oopbuy Selection panel with three lines: Direct from the Source, Strict Factory Selection with third-party batch inspection and action against factories, and Curated Finds
The Selection panel beside keyword search results, 15 October 2026.

They are also the only promises in the ledger tied to a part of the service whose terms we could not read. If you buy from the Selection tab, ask in your account where the mall's return and quality terms are, and read them before paying.

What the Terms of Service say about Oopbuy's role

Terms of Service text: Oopbuy is an entrusted purchasing and logistics platform, not a goods seller, offers no authenticity guarantee, and does not guarantee complete consistency with physical goods
Terms of Service and User Management, read 15 October 2026.

The Terms of Service describe Oopbuy as an entrusted purchasing and logistics-service platform, not a goods seller. They say it offers no guarantee of authenticity or IP compliance for third-party merchant goods, and that obvious counterfeit or infringing goods found in inspection may be destroyed with no compensation and no refund of payments or service fees.

The same section says product information is reproduced as faithfully as practicable but may differ from the physical goods. Read with the company claims above, the terms set the frame: the agent is a buyer and a forwarder working for you, and the product promises belong to the seller.

How to choose a trustworthy agent from its own pages

The method on this site works for any agent. List its homepage promises. For each, find the clause. Mark where the clause adds limits and where there is none. An agent whose operational promises all have clauses, with clear deadlines and fees, gives you something to hold it to, even if its brand promises are thin.

Then check the company: a named legal entity, a registration number you can look up, a reachable email, and a warehouse location. Check the money: fee page, conversion method, top-up costs. Check the exit: return window, who decides, claim deadline.

None of this predicts how an order will go. It tells you what you can point to if it goes wrong, which is the part a homepage badge cannot do.

Next promise: back to the first promise, no price difference
